Exquisite Modern Flute, December 24, 2000

If you enjoy hearing a flute being played in a masterful but unorthodox manner this recording is for you. I like the sounds of the keys tapping. I especially like the windy tones of a wind instrument being overblown. It is wonderful to hear someone who is truly a master of his instrument. Pierre-Yves Artaud plays every one of these challenging compositions with passion and empathy.
