The authors have thought of everything. The busy pastor need only flip and find what he's looking for.

It is not a resource to copy, but a resource that helps you think through things that you may not have even thought about. It is a resource for covering all of your bases whether it be for a funeral, a wedding, a dedication, or a special event like an ordination.

I thought that this was a very good all around start for someone who is just getting into ministry. It is laid out nicely, in a contemporary fashion, even though the content was traditional. I had expected more unique ideas and suggestions. Overall, it was well worth purchasing.

I purchased this book for my step-son, who is attending funeral director's school. With today's transient society, there is a very big need for ministers to perform funerals and weddings for those who do not have a church home. Using this book, my step-son has made extra money while in school and next summer will perform my daughter's wedding ceremony. Excellent book!

This book has much to offer a pastor when it comes to performing weddings and funerals. The authors give good ideas on how to put the ceremony together. I think the authors did a great job giving suggestions for different situations that may arise in doing funerals. There is also a section on other special events such as Christmas, the Lord's Supper, and ordination.
