Kiesler does an admirable job weaving classic, Sullivanian
interpersonal theory with contemporary perspectives, and
provides a thorough review of the empirical bases for these
views. Nice theoretical and empirical explanations of the
circumplex models of personality and interpersonal behavior.
This is a must-have resource guide that stands amazingly
well on its own, and points to decades of work on the subject.
