This is a good text book to have on hand if you want to learn med-surg of pregnancy and labour. However, preconception and antenatal info is better had from gynecological societies' latest publications, as well as the childhood content

I found with this text book there was a lot of overlap, I felt as I read through the chapters I was reading the same few concepts over and over again, so if you like reiteration, this book is for you, but it is far from concise. Its organization is also flawed. First you read about healthy mom, then healthy baby, then healthy labour and delivery, than complications from many specific points in pregnancy, each having their own chapter, each with lots of overlap.

A good introduction to infant maternal care but definately not for the nurse who already knows a fair bit about the field.

I recieved this Workbook within 2 days of the purchase and it was in perfect condition. It was also much cheaper than it would have been if I had bought it from the college bookstore. The workbook is an excellent companion with the text!!! Very happy customer!!

Awesome book....a real wealth of information. Was a little bummed that the DVD was not included. I would definitely recommend the book....best to get the 7th edition. Older editions obviously don't have all the same info.

This is the textbook that I needed for school. I found it here and ordered it. Within days it was here.

I was very upset when I received my book. The last 20 pages in the back of the book were not binded correctly. I have barely used the book and it's already falling apart. I will never buy from this seller ever again.
