I would not typically find such a book all that wonderful however, as part of my required reading for my nursing program,I found it quite informative and in some cases eye opening. Many nursing students get hung up on the hands on portion of our work and fail to understand why we do what we do, or the importance of doing it correctly. The legal issues presented in this text help to illuminate the importance of covering ones back-side.

This book is entirely too vague. I would have liked a bit more factual information. There is a lot of fluff to sort through to get to the meat of the text!

This book is entirely to wordy ! Most folks in my class just used the ppt (power point) handed out by the instructor and scored as high on the tests as those of us who bought the book and read it.

The book has GREAT information if you can find it amongst all the extra useless information.

I bought this book for a summer school class and ended up actually enjoying it. It's full of up-to-date information about all sorts of nursing issues and is easy to read and well laid out.

The book was exactly as described and the shipping was quick (I took the slowest way and they still got it out fast).

What I wanted was a quick reference to all the body systems that could be in a "small" book. If you are in medicine you understand that... After a couple of semesters we all have one arm that is overdeveloped from carrying those massive text books...ha

It's a good resourse

I received my item quickly even with the busy holiday season. The item is exactly what I ordered. Packaging was great and the book is in perfect condition.

This book is required for my second year nursing courses. As far as nursing textbooks go, this one is a pretty easy read. I like how it highlights key terms in each chapter. I also bought the older edition of the book and the current edition and I found them to be identical. I sold the newer edition and kept the older one and it is working out just fine for me.

Quick efficient service. Book is somewhat water damaged, which I didn't expect but is still very usable. All in all, a good experience.

I had to purchase this for a nursing class. The book was useless with regard to my class that required it because the instructor rarely, if ever, referenced it.
