Book Description

FIVE STARS given by TOTALLY BOOKALICIOUS – “The Last Page had me hooked from the start. It’s smart, sassy and very very funny… if you are looking for a quick, light read that is comical and romantic then this will be right up your alley.”

BOOKS, ETC. - “This was a cute, fun novel that was perfect for an end of summer read.”

THE BOOK BAG – “Lacy made her characters so very believable and real that I felt like I was part of this group of women. This is chick lit at it’s finest!”

A COZY READER’S CORNER REVIEWS – “I think any girl can relate to Norah’s story, which makes this title a great chick-lit. If you love fashion, romance, stories with family relationships or dynamics, this one has something for you! It really has a little of everything. Top that with a great writing style and you get The Last Page.”

TEA AND SCRIBBLES – “I devoured this book. All the main characters were very relatable to me. I didn’t ever really feel like an outsider looking in on this world, but someone who was learning about the story and was part of the group. This was a very enjoyable book that I would recommend to others and I am looking forward to more in the series and by Camey.”

Summary:

Norah Johnson is at a crossroads and is in desperate need to heal after a highly publicized breakup from her major league baseball player boyfriend.

To escape, she moves to her summer home in The Hamptons with her sister and best friend where she journals, attends therapy and works on her pending clothing line all the while wondering how fast can a heart really heal. Well, it sure helps when part of the healing process involves living in a fabulous summer home on the beach with your sister and absolute BFF. The best psychologist since Good Will Hunting always helps. And then there’s the hottie, much older version of Taylor Lautner look-alike who finds your lost journal, reads it and falls madly in love with you, “the you on paper”, and is set on finding you and making you fall in love with him.

Okay, so this can all really help! But is Norah ready to love again?

The Last Page is a PG, language-free, sex-free, short novel (40k words) suitable for all ages...okay, well obviously not for five year olds. This book is an inspirational light hearted read about living and loving again.

Book One: The Last Page (Norah's story)
Book Two: The Last Name Banks (Chloe's story) out now!
Book Three: The Last Pretense (Maycee's story) due late Summer 2012

This series can be read as stand alone novels.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Last Page December 14, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
I liked this book it was a quick and easy read. The story had heartbreak, laughs and some tears. Norah was dating Truett who is a star pitcher for a baseball team untill she finds him with another women who then says she is pregnant. Truett marries the other woman leaving Norah heartbroken and hounded by the paparazzi. Norah goes to spend the summer at her parents summer home with her sister Maycee and best friend Chloe. Norah is a fashion designer and since the breakup is having trouble focusing on her work. Norah starts to see a Therapist and he tells her to write a journal. Norah throws the journal away but some one finds it. Will Norah meet this man who found her journal, will she find happiness again?? All in all a good read...By Loves to Read

1.0 out of 5 stars I hope I didn't pay for this... June 19, 2012
By Emily
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I download a lot of cheap and/or free Kindle books was amazon has them and then get around to reading them later. That being said, 99 cents would have been the most I've would have paid for this book and that would have been too much. The characters are spoiled, insipid, and superficial. OMG, I had a horrible breakup! I'm going to go to my parents vacation house in the Hamptons to recover and totally procrastinate on work! My sister and my friend are going to conme too and we're going to spend the summer doing stupid crap because we don't actually have to work like real people. Then I'm going to sprain my wrist and spend 6 weeks getting over it and everyone's going to obsess over me icing it all the TIME. There's something funny about this hot guy who is totally doing things hot guys have never done in the history of hot guys existing but I have the attention span of a fish... oh doggie clothes! It pains me to see drivel like this published.

Was this written for adults? Reads like a seventh grade English paper. Might be considered a good read if you are 12.
