I had first purchased a 2-pack (pink/purple) of the children's version. I have 9 and 11 year old daughters who are beyond sippy cups, but with one autism spectrum child, not beyond spills, especially in the car. This has become frustrating trying to clean milk out of small cracks before it goes bad! I thought this would be a good alternative- and it was! It was so great we ordered 2 of this style- for myself and my husband. My husband is in love with his (blue)- he wants to get more! Mine (turquoise) kept leaking since the first use, and I discovered the cause to be the seal was not in place on the lid. I am returning it with the hope my second one makes me as happy as my husband is with his- we will see how the return process goes.
Pros:
*this truly is spill-PROOF! I tipped them upside-down, shook them, and kids have dropped theirs- not a drop on the 3 working ones I have!
*caribiner clip stays out of the way, unlike some bottles I've gotten in which it hangs off and rattles around/gets in the way when you drink
*nice styles/colors don't make it look like a kiddie sippy cup- good for adults and older children!
*storage compartment on this style is removable, so I can take it off when using at work, but have it on when going places like the zoo where it is more beneficial!
*NO VALVES! Any parent who has had to deal with valves falling out into the drink, or trying to find a clean, proper fitting valve knows what I'm talking about!
Cons:
*the size is a little awkward when using without the storage compartment
*if the seal comes out (like mine) it isn't easily replaceable (this is what makes it so spill-proof!)
