These cups are the best -- they really don't leak unless you pack them in such a way that something heavy can press against the button, which is easy to avoid. They're very easy to clean, and they don't get stinky. My 7yo daughter uses them for her school lunches and in the night for when she gets thirsty. The bottle usually ends up lying flat on the bed, but we've never had any water leak out.
To drink, the child has to press a large button on the back of the cup, which means they won't work for younger kids whose hands are too small or who just aren't strong enough yet. But for older kids they're perfect. Highly recommended.

I bought a 4 pack of these cups when my daughter was 3. We traveled a lot and they were the best cup I could just throw in a bag and not worry about leaking everywhere.
When my son turned two and it was time to transition to a bigger cup with out a "spout" I choose these because of their durability, function and style. His older sister showed him how to push the side button while taking a drink and he had no problem figuring it out. The size is great. We NEVER leave the house with out a cup of water. I get tons of questions and comments from other moms about these cups. There are no seperate parts to the lid, meaning there is no extra valve or anything. I DO scrub the inside of th elid pretty good and let them dry completely before putting them away. I also store the lid seperatly to prevent further mold & mildew growth! All in all, a great sylish cup that does what it says! ps- the colors are fun too!
