Best I've found. Even the bigger kids like it.,
This review is from: Contigo AutoSeal Kids Children Leak Proof 9oz Travel Cup Mug - Blue/Green
I bought four of these for a five year old and loved them so much I bought four more for her three year old sister and cousin, for a total of eight of these cups. I love them. It's a "big kid" cup suitable for younger kids. It seals snugly between the lid/cup and at the mouth when it's not in use. It absolutely won't leak. The worst hazard I've found is if it drops on the floor and rolls under the seat I have to remember to take it out of the car! :) The lid seals snugly (there is a rubber gasket that fits around the top of the cup that prevents leaking.) It's been dropped, tossed and abused any way a three year old can imagine. The only caution I would have is to take the seal off the cup if you're washing them in the dishwasher. Someone told me when I bought the first set that they tend to get less flexible if they're washed in the dishwasher. They've been in the dishwasher a few times when my husband's loaded it, but I take them off just to be safe. You want to be sure that the seal is on properly and isn't twisted (or upside down if that's possible) when you put it back on.

not the best choice for school lunches,
This review is from: Contigo AutoSeal Kids Children Leak Proof 9oz Travel Cup Mug - Blue/Green
I bought these cups for my children to take in their lunch boxes. Seemed like a great way to save $ and go green, but found the lids to be difficult to put on properly and they leak. Have had to put the cup inside a big zipper seal bag each day for lunch and the bag always comes home filled with juice/milk. Perhaps they will work better as cups to carry in the car or in a more controlled environment as opposed to the school lunch box/bag. Although even when they are sitting at the table drinking they sometimes leak.

this cup works great. my 3 year old daughter loves it. it did take a few times for her to get used to how it works. my sister is a speech pathologist and this cup meets her approval for a spill proof cup that won't encourage a lisp. the child drinks like a normal cup, just has to push the button to open the little door that covers the drink hole. works fine in the dishwasher.

Finally a big kid cup that really does not leak, I love it. My 5 year old usually has breakfast on the bus on the way to school since we leave home so early, finding a cup to hold his tea was a hassle but this cup is great, it's cute, not a sippy cup, no straws, he loves I and so do I.

I bought this cup for my almost four year old. He loves it! It makes him feel big since it is different from the traditional sippy cup. It truly doesn't leak. A must have!

Do not buy this mug. I put soda in mine. No, I don't usually give my child soda, but her school had a special beverage day where they could bring soda. She said, when she pushed the button the lid shot off. I thought she had just dropped it and was saying that to explain why hers had a big crack in it. Until, one day when I filled mine with soda and pushed the button while driving. The lid shot off and smashed into my teeth (loosening my front two teeth). The bottom exploded and soda pop went all over. I also swerved off the road with my son in the back. This mug could have literally killed us. I would give it a minus "star," but the review requires I give it at least one star.
