The Goodyear Engineered Products Plicord Blast green rubber sand blasting hose assembly is suitable for a wide variety of industrial and commercial cleaning and finishing applications that use steel shot or sand as a medium, and consists of a tube constructed with Tufsyn (polybutadiene blend) for tensile strength, abrasion resistance, and static dissipation; and a cover made with four plies of green Plioflex (styrene-butadiene) for resistance to abrasion. Its spiral-plied synthetic fabric reinforcement provides the strength for its maximum working pressure rating of 150 pounds per square inch (psi). This hose can withstand temperatures ranging from -25 to +180 degrees F (-32 to +82 degrees C). It comes equipped with two factory-installed iron universal couplings. This hose is suitable for conveying steel shot or sand blasting in metal, stone, glass, or other cleaning or finishing applications.
