pros:
compact

cons:
1) doesnt make sandhiches like we are used to. It doesn't bond the bread pieces
2) it oozes out stuff more than it keeps in. Half of all the Stuffing\filling\cheese use to spill out of the maker leaving behind a great mess. It actually takes me more time cleaning the damn thing than making or eating my meal

Even when using thin bread and minimal cheese and meat the stuff oozes out because the lid clamps down in a poor fashion, it is simply poor engineering. The power cord is too short. The unit is tiny so don't expect to be making big sandwiches with it. The plates are not removable which makes cleaning a real pain. Another vendor was recently selling these for free after rebate and even for free I wouldn't use this thing.

When sandwich makers don't make actual sandwiches, it comes as an unhappy surprise. Surely the good folks at Continental had a good idea: they just listened to the wrong people. Like so many others.

this item is very hard to clean if you get melted cheese on it when making a sandwich. if the cheese melts it gets into places that you really cant clean well....

I had one of these when I was a kid. So ordering this one I had expectations! But no this little sand which maker gets the job done. I'm a college student now and on my own so sometimes it's just easier to eat these during hmwk or studying. Or even just a quick snack. It has made life easier for this college student. Clean up is easy, once maker is cooled down just wipe off any chz that may have spilled off
