Our son is now 9 months old and we have used this changing pad since birth. We have been happy with it. We actually keep it tucked under the coffee table for when we change him in the living room. We havent had any problem with it leaking through. On those occasions when he has "suprised" us between diapers, the pad has wiped clean easily with a wipe.

I had origionally bought it to keep in a diaper bag, but most come with their own pads anyway, so we never needed to. I think it would be a bit large for a diaper bag.

I agree with the first reviewer. I wish I had read the reviews before I bought this product. My daughter also wets on the pad between the old diaper and the new one and so we had to purchase a solid changing pad to avoid wet spots on our bed. The problem with the product is that it has stitching between the quilted areas and they must use a big needle because there are stitch holes that allow wetness to just leak right through. I want my money back!!

This pad fits perfectly into my daughters diaper bag. So when we're out and she needs her diaper to be changed, I just put this down ontop of the table to change her. Don't listen to the bad reviews given about how it leaks through. If you know how to change a diaper, your baby can't leak through the pad, because there is always a diaper underneath her.

This is definitely not waterproof. Potty goes right into the quilting. The first time my daughter piddled on it was the last time we used it. I tried to clean it and never could get the potty smell out of it. It needs to be solid and not quilted. Not worth buying.

I bought this pad thinking it would be waterproof since it is vinyl, not a chance! My daughter has timed her diaper changes such that she has had accidents after the diaper is off. To my surprise the pad leaked thru! What a disappointment, save your money on this one!

The portable changing pad is wonderful, I would recommend it to all my friends. You can have it with you at all times whether your at a restaurant, movie theater or even a friends home. It's so easy to use and store for that at home feel on the go.

I ordered this changing pad for a baby shower gift basket I was putting together, but I decided NOT to include it. The changing pad itself is very basic, CUSHIONED in plastic (not 'quilted' or lined for warmth in any way), and is a comparable size with similar pads. It is a very drab white, and also looks like something that was a maternity ward hospital gift (new moms and dads out there, you know exactly what I mean).

The downside is that this is plain, ugly, and outdated looking. The upside is that this makes an okay replacement to an older pad, an extra to keep in the car or at daycare, and it's a decent alternative to disposable changing pads. NOT GREAT, but usable and just okay.

I didn't like the pad that came with my diaper bag, so I got this one instead and it is great! While still able to fold up conveniently into the diaper bag, it is plenty big and provides a enough cushion for your little one, even on hard surfaces.
