A Very Important Book,
By
This review is from: Contingencies of Reinforcement; A Theoretical Analysis (Paperback)
This is one of the most important books I read in my intellectual development. I recommend to anyone who is trying to understand how behaviorism has contributed to a science of human behavior.
It is widely believed that Behaviorism is dead, but it is, in fact, one of the most vibrant and growing areas in the behavioral sciences. Skinner laid a foundation in this and other works that has led to subtantial improvement in our ability to help people achieve more effective behavior. |
