This book explains the Atonement simply. It answers questions that I have always been too embarrassed to ask. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for hope in their lives through Jesus Christ.

I'm not one to read mainstream LDS books other than the scriptures. But "Continuous Atonement" was recommended to me by a close family member at a time in my life when I felt particularly down. I checked the book out from the library, and slowly devoured every page over a month's time, marking my scriptures with insights I'd received, and filling my journal pages with lessons taught me of God as I read the book. After finishing the book I felt the need to have my own copy that I could mark up, so now I'm going through the book again, slowly as part of my daily scripture study so I can again be reminded of the great blessing of Christ's Atonement.Whereas President Kimball's "Miracle of Forgiveness" seems to be for those who need to be humbled to seek God in the repentance process, "Continuous Atonement" is for those who are already humbled, contrite and repentant, and may have lost hope in being able be clean and to measure up to what God wants. For these people this book gives hope in accepting the Atonement fully. I wish I'd have read this book as a pre-missionary so I could have taught those I met the amazing blessings of the Atonement. But I will now teach the wonderful blessings of the Atonement every chance I get.

This book was well written and easy to understand. Lots of real-life stories to relate to. Left me full of hope and with a determination to be gentle with myself and less judgmental. The book will be part of my daily scripture study for the next year or more. I'm ordering copies for my children and friends. Thank you, Brother Wilcox, for helping me understand this important principle and its application to my daily life.

Creates New Understanding of the Atonement,

This book is great for those of us who are trying hard to do what is right but constantly feel we're just not good enough. Brad Wilcox's book makes the Atonement an everyday blessing and helps us understand just how loving the Lord is. The book is inspiring and helpful in that it challenges many different myths or false analogies often used in Church culture. I appreciate that this book helps make something so sacred more accessible to us all. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

Feeling hopeless, like you are fighting to keep your faith. Read just the introduction of this book and you will be hooked. I have read many of the other atonement books and this one gets right to your heart and mind.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It helped me feel close to the Savior and helped me feel like I could finally understand and apply the atonement in my day to day life. I love the distinction given between the roles of Savior and Redeemer - both of which I considered to be identical, but they're really not. Highly recommended.

For those struggling with everyday challenges and feeling like you are coming up short, this book is a wonderful reminder and puts into perspective the fact that atonement is designed specifically for you. Your challenges. Your weaknesses. A very uplifting book that will help you see your shortcomings in a more positive way.

It gave me a better understanding of the atonement. It gave a positive prospective for our every day use-- a continuous atonement in other words. I would certainly recommend it for LDS church members especially.
