A
I need a camera that takes good action pictures indoors. My daughter is a dancer and my point and shoot pics are always disappointingly blurry.

does the LCD display drain battery power fast, and if so how fast and what steps can be taken to get the most out of battery usage
does it have a AC DC plug in option for power
thank you, a interested buyer

Be sure to check two things:
1. What is the continuous shooting rate AT FULL RESOLUTION. A lot of the numbers for fast burst are for very low res pix.
2. How many frames can you shoot AT FULL RESOLUTION. I once tried out a camera that shot 11 fps--but could only capture 7 frames before pausing to write to memory!
In general, CCD sensor will take longer to process. But a Class 10 memory card will help.

yes it does...10 and 20 shot mode...the key with this high megapixel camera is using SDHC or class 6 memory cards... they are a must for high speed / high res cameras.
