A side note: This isn't exactly the case I was looking for. I was hoping for something more related to my "speck" case that I had gotten my MacBook Pro, at bestbuy, or my Belkin case I had gotten my two iPods... but this is all I could really find at the Apple Store, or Bestbuy. Was a little to worried about ordering online with all these bad reviews flying around. This case is lovely. I will be honest. I just wish it wasn't frosted with the white coloring, and was perfectly crystal clear instead. That's kind of the only downfall. The frosting takes away from the beauty apple puts in the casing of their products. But since my only issue is with the color, I decided to post a video review and let you decide for yourself. Dennis shall be the hand model, I shall be the filmer. Enjoy, and I hope this answers any questions you may have. Otherwise.. ask away.

Because of the near-slick surface of it's rear panel, the iPad is too easy to be accidently dropped. I had hoped to remedy that with the ISEE and, while the case is slightly more tactile than the iPad, it falls far short of what, seemingly, could have easily been accomplished. Why, oh why, didn't Contour go the extra mile? Question for other purchasers: has anyone come up with a home remedy...a way to roughen the ISEE surface or otherwise increase its tactile quality?

We went to an Apple Store and two large independent Apple centric stores, and my wife looked at all the available cases for her new iPad. She had pretty specific criteria: full coverage for the back and edges, clear or at least not "colored", hard-shelled. Nothing she saw at any of the shops quite matched that, so she had me order this and has been quite happy with it. Installation is a snap (ha ha), and the stand is a nice bonus for the price; it's not great for typing but it works fine sitting on the table watching a show or displaying the slideshow feature, etc. As has been noted, if your stand is a bit wobbly, especially in the typing orientation, you probably just haven't quite got it clicked all the way together - it took a goodly amount of pressure to get hers fully snapped in, but it sits perfectly flat both ways now.

I bounce between this cover and my Speck CandyShell. The contour is nice when on, and doesn't detract from the lines as much as the speck candy shell. Also, it has a matte finish which unlike the candyshell with its glossy finish, doesnt show finger prints nearly as badly. The contour comes with a really nasty ipad stand which i dont recommend using, but the contour has been profiled such that it will seamlessly work with your apple dock without having to be removed.

I purchased this after looking at many online. The cover is sufficient . It snaps on and off easily and is easy to clean. However, the stand is about as cheezy as anyone could design. Interlocking the two parts is difficult and frustrating. Surely our beautiful iPads deserve something more classy than plastic legs! As the previous reviewer mentioned, the iPad needs more protection than this product or any I've seen so far provide. I shudder to think about what will happen when my college kids toss their iPads into their backpacks!
