The Kolcraft Contours Classique 3-in-1 Bassinet is the best bassinet I've found and at a great price! It's sturdier and better-looking than most moses baskets and has an overall more elegant/sophisticated feel. The bassinet itself is a little heavy since I'm 5 foot tall, but is very portable and keeps my 2 month old daughter comfortable and secure. As an added bonus, the stand turns into a changing table (which I can't say I use, but is nice to have.) The baskets and the diaper holder are a nice touch, although I have to agree with other reviewers that the diaper holder could have been made to fit more securely. (It fits onto the stand with velcro which means it can't hold much, but then again, newborn to 4 month old diapers don't weigh much anyway :) Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and highly recommend it to prospective buyers!

Someone wrote that the pad was too thin. I have looked at many bassinets and all the pads are thin. Yes it was thin, but my baby slept very well in it and never seemed uncomfortable. She used it for about 2 and half months. It wheels around which was great. I had my mom staying with me and she was able to wheel into room. It also was wheeled to other rooms around the house as well. The storage under the bassinet was very useful and the diaper storage bag on the side held quite a few diapers. I was very happy with the product.

We like this -- it's a great size, we love that it's on wheels, and it looks more expensive than it was. Our baby sleeps well in it, and the storage and changing table are very nice. I would buy it again, since we are making some modifications to it anyway (see below). Here are the cons:

- The mattress it comes with is very flimsy. We ended up buying a firmer mattress separately. We went with a much firmer Naturpedic mattress that cost around $60.
- The wheels it comes on are pretty worthless. They don't turn well, and they scratched our wood floor. My husband is at the hardware store as I write this buying better wheels to put on ourselves.
- The assembly is pretty complicated.

I really like this. I love combo units that serve multiple purposes. The design is a little darker in person than what I thought it would be but I still like it. The only thing I don't really care for is the changing table. While it is still good to use, it is difficult to hook onto the top of the unit but it is nice for a quick change as we have this basinett in our bedroom for when the baby sleeps at night. Otherwise, we use the actual changing table dresser that is in the nursery to change baby girl throughout the day.

Very easy to put together, love using the hooded cover, the changing table is very conveient. Addition, this thing is on wheels, so it's very mobile. We also loved how the end pockets can pretty much hold anything, from diapers, to creams, etc.

Cons were that the steering was a little awkward, the frame, although durable, still squeaks and wobbles.

Overall, we recommend this bassinet because it's useful and functional.

I purchased this bassinet because I did not have room to put up the big pack n play bassinet in our bedroom. It arrived in perfect condition, and my husband put it together with no trouble.I found this to be very sturdy. My 2 1/2 year old would even try to climb it (while we were right there) to see the baby, and it never once wiggled. I found it to be very convenient. I had it right next to my side of the bed. The diapers were in arms reach. I used the changing table as a shelf to hold blankets and such. The baskets on the bottom were used to hold her clothes. I did, however, purchase a separate bassinet mattress as the one that comes with it, is very thin. That shouldn't deter anyone from purchasing this bassinet.
There is plenty of room in the moses basket for even big babies. My daughter had RSV and I was able to elevate to mattress and she was still comfortable and safe.

This bassinet is great because it is very versatile. Moreover, it is very easy to put together. The best part about it is the Moses bed feature allowing you to carry the baby any where without taking the whole bassinet. The wheels are very sturdy, allow for easy movement, and the wheel locks are hair-trigger but very effective. Also, the diaper pocket holds plenty of diapers. The pad is very soft and makes for a great sleep for our baby. We give this bassinet our highest and strongest recommendation.

This bassinet was beautiful!!! took some time to put it together, but once you have all the piece in the right spot, you wont be disapointed with this one. i truly cant wait to use it. It shows really nicely and it's quite sturdy too.

We purchased this bassinet in the summer of 2009, before the birth of our first. It was easy to put together, and feels nice and sturdy. I chose this particular bassinet because, 1) it doesn't have "frilly" details, 2) the wood is a nice color & does not look cheap like other plastic bassinets, 3) the design is neat and compact (not curvy and bulky) and 4) the storage baskets were a useful addition. My son slept very well in it until he was about 3 months- once he learned to roll over, we stopped using it. We used the baskets underneath to store extra diapers, wipes, receiving blankets, etc. The wheels are our only complaint- they are cheaply made, and 2 were faulty right out of the box. I was still able to wheel it around the house, but it wasn't smooth, and I wasn't able to lock all 4 wheels either. We'll just replace them with another set from the hardware store this time around. Also, we never used the changing table option, so I can't comment on that feature. We also did not have the need to remove the Moses basket from the bassinet, although it is a nice feature to have in case we do need to do it in the future. All in all, it was a useful purchase for the relatively short time we used it, and I am glad we'll have it once this baby arrives in June. It still looks as nice/new as it did when we first purchased it, pee pee accidents and all!

We have been using this bassinet for a few weeks and are extremely happy with it! We like being able to pull out the moses basket during the day and rock the basket when it is in the bassinet. The changing table also works fine and there is a good amount of storage. We also like that it can be wheeled around.
