I remember Eiza from her "Lola, Erase Una Vez" days about 4 years ago. I was never really a fan of "Lola",and was surprised when I heard about Eiza's debut album. Admittedly, I was a little leery because I was never to fond of her voice during "Lola". However, I think her voice has improved drastically over the last few years. Eiza crafted a beautiful debut album that surely shed her telenovela persona. I don't dislike any of the songs on the album. My top 5 songs are "Dilo de una vez", "Caminare", "Dulce Apariencia", "Lo Que Ahora Soy", and "Perdiendolo Todo". "Dulce Apariencia" is the album's lone electro-pop track. It's a very cool song to listen to for a night on the town. Most of the songs are pop or light pop-rock driven. Unfortunately, the album only had one single, "Mi Destino Soy Yo", a very cool guitar driven song about female empowerment and independence. It's a shame that the album only produced one single because I feel like it was loaded with lots of potential singles. Nevertheless, the album is uplifting and very positive. I find myself listening to it whenever I've had a bad day or want some light background music in the car. One of the sadder, more touching songs on the album is "Dentro" written about Eiza's late father. The only song that reminded me of "Lola" was "Quiereme Bien". I don't mind listening to it since Eiza's voice is really pretty on this track. Vocally speaking, Eiza really shines on "Caminare" and "Perdiendolo Todo". I'm really excited to see what Eiza will do for an upcoming 2nd release.

Saw her video late one night on Videosomnia and liked it enough to buy the whole CD. It was totally worth it as it is a Great CD and I enjoy listening to it regularly. Can't wait for her next release!

Eiza Gonzalez is very talented and deserves the spotlight unlike some famous stars known for their bodies. This cd is one of the best cd's for pop music. I love her music especially since she puts a lot emotion into her work. This music does not downgrade us females like most music now a days. Her voice is powerful enough to motivate me into doing well. Try her music, its worth it. :)
