2.0 out of 5 stars It's a book for dummies!, June 22, 2005
This review is from: Contractor's Exam Book: How to Pass the Examination for Master Builder and General Contractor (Paperback)
This book should be titled, "Contractor's Exam for Dummies"! The author wastes a lot of resources on teaching you how to use the calculator, and do simple math.

It states that it is a generic contractor's exam book, but it is farthest from the truth. The authors are all Floridaians; hence, everything they write is around Florida and its exams.

Very disappointed in this book - waste of money - unless you are looking for a Florida examination help.

5.0 out of 5 stars Getting my son in gear, May 21, 2008
My son has been suggesting for some time that he wanted to get his contractor's license. Tired of hearing his hollow words, I bought this this book and handed it to him. He was shocked, but latered very excited, as he explored the excellent examples and discovered that, with what he has already picked up in school and life, he is closer to realizing his dream then he thought. This clear, simple, yet comperehensive book, may just be what was needed to shift his gears from neutral to first. Thanks.

This book is a right start on obtaining ideas and a foundation to proceed for further studies and progress in the practice of General Constractor's Test.
