Great Book,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Contractor's Guide to QuickBooks Pro 2008 (Paperback)
I have had this book for over two years now and find myself referring to it quite often. I wish more contractors would purchase this book for their own reference as well as for their bookkeeper. As a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, you wouldn't believe the messes I come across because Intuit advertises "You Can Be Up And Running in 15 Minutes!". While you may be able to install the program in 15 minutes, learning how to use it correctly takes a bit longer. Accounting in the construction industry is a specialty and this book is a great resource.

Great for QuickBooks Beginners,
This review is from: Contractor's Guide to QuickBooks Pro 2008 (Paperback)
Currently work as an electrical & low voltage contractor and needed help in the data age. At first I was a bit apprehensive on purchasing any book on Quickbooks but it definitely answered many questions. First of all, the resource CD in the back is worth its weight in Gold. It has many good examples and templates to follow. If you are new to the Quickbooks world this help guides you through inputting all the data entries regarding material.
Just a good book to help on the step by step process of Quickbooks setup. Quickbooks 2009 does have a ton of horrible reviews but if you keep it simple + out the credit cards, online banking and just keep it as a book keeping software, it will do more than you expect. Definitely watch the tutorials! |
