Control Products WA-5001 WaterAlarm Plus will automatically call any one phone number when water is detected by the attached water sensor. When it calls, it plays a voice alarm message warning you of a water leak, overflowing sump, broken washing machine hose or plugged up to wash tub - anywhere you worry about water damaging your home, vacation property or business. The unit consists of two components, connected by a six foot wire. The alarm dialer connects to your existing telephone line and calls one phone number when water is detected. The water sensor includes an 90 decibel alarm and a detachable water sensor that can go on the floor, in a sump or anywhere you worry about water. It's easy to install and provides easy remote monitoring of areas where water problems occur.

inexpensive insurance,

I have had a sump pump system for years and have never really worried about a sump pump failure. I had a sump pump failure last year and a close call this year. I installed this system...easy and hassle-free. About week after I installed the alarm, I got a call from the alarm. Yes my sump pump float had stuck and water had risen to the sensor. The alarm works as advertised and it has already save me from a big mess. The WaterAlarm Plus is very inexpensive insurance. It is peace of mind for a sump pump owner.

Installed Water Alarm Plus next to sump pump and tested it . Worked great, called my phone and alerted me that there was a water problem. I would highly recommend this product

I would reccomend to any one with a sump pump. Just put about 6 to 8 inches from the top and if the water hits the sensor it will call you on any phne you set-up. I know it works because I just had a power outage and it called my cell phone and I was able to save from mopping my basement!!
