though it covers theory a bit more than practical use in the field this is still a quite good book..
the book is clear and has what is relevant to the hvac field and i recommend the book to anyone interested in hvac controls.. good descriptions and well laid out and well written for every skill level..

The book is pretty good. It is an easy reading book. I would like to see some pictures. I am a student that is very new to controls, and a few more pictures would be worth a thousand words. I must say that they have a lot of drawings, and verbal descriptions, but sometimes a drawing, especially when one is talking about controls is not enough. The student/reader should know that it is not a book that you can read without an instructor's or engineer's guidance. Some of the things referenced in this book will definitely need someone to explain. Please don't mistake my critiques as being negative, overall I really liked the book.
