4.0 out of 5 stars Nice slime, okay ergonomics
This slime controller is very high quality. I expected a hard shiny plastic shell, instead it is a soft, almost rubbery plastic, appropriate for a slime. The cable to connect the slime to the Ps2 is detachable, so it can sit in its pedestal without a cord attached, and will surprise any guests when they discover it can be used as a controller.

1.0 out of 5 stars Wire does not fit into slime!
The wire that connected to the ps2 and the slime did not fit into the slime, rendering it useless. As this was a birthday present, it can not be returned. We are very disappointed with the craftsmanship of this item.

As a display trophy, it's 5 stars.

Ergonomics leave a bit to be desired, the controller is somewhat uncomfortable to hold because of how you have to shape your wrists (bad for carpal tunnel), although better than most special edition shaped controllers. The cable is also much shorter than a PS2 cable (around 5 feet) and can be easily unplugged since it plugs both to the slime and the PS2. The controller, while fully functioning, is better for a RPG game or turn based game because of its shape.

The slime does rumble though, which is a unexpected surprise.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love you Slime Monster!, March 4, 2006
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: PS2 Controller Dragon Quest Slime (Video Game)
Slime monster is my best friend, we do everything together. The best thing about him is he's quiet and really listens when I have problems. He's also pretty swell at playing tennis! The only negative thing is that sometimes adventurers and warriors will come up expecting a random encounter or something and I have to kill them. I have to protect Slime Monster.
