This review is from: Controversial Issues In A Disabling Society (Disability Human Rights and Society) (Paperback)
The author does an okay job revealing some controversy but it hardly goes far enough.Mr. Swain is so blinded by disability rights that he doesn't see he's creating discrimination towards them at every turn. As a non-disabled person but the neighbor of someone who is, I have learned (with help from Disabling America, ISBN: 0785262253) how destructive the Americans with Disabilities Act truly is to the truly handicapped and it saddens me. Books such as Mr. Swain's here do not help the matter... and they don't help the truly disabled. |
