Let me start by saying that I did not like this book.
I LOVED IT! I LOVED IT! I LOVED IT!
CONTROVERSY, is the latest installment of the Adams sisters, Peyton (Measure of a Man), Joey ( When You Were Mine),Frankie, Sheldon, and now Michael. You can't forget their brother Flex.
Michael has always been the rebel. The one in the family that was always getting into something. With her history of pranks and payback, when her ex-husband ends up dead, Michael becomes number one suspect. Not to mention having the hots for the detective that comes to question her.
CONTROVERSY is a page turner that will have you in stitches laughing out loud one minute, fanning yourself from the steamy love scenes and crying with emotion the next. The twists in the story that leads to and an ending that even this diehard reader wasn't prepared for was well worth the time spent reading.
Ms. Byrd's voice is as fresh as the first novel I read by her (DEFENSELESS) eleven years ago.
Her stories are refreshing and goes right to the readers heart.
If you're ready for a roller coaster read of pleasure, CONTROVERSY is the book to read. Although it is strong enough to stand alone, you will want to read the other books in the series. All of them are Must Reads!

Well what can you say beside D!@#. This book was so good it will have you laughing so hard. I tell you those Adams sister are something else, but there is nothing like sisters. I tell from the time you pick up this book you will not be able to put it down until you have finishing read it. That Kyson is oh so FINEEEEEE and him and Michael there is instance attraction it jump off the page at you. You can feel the attraction between while reading and the love scene are great. I tell using handcuffed are pretty handy. The ending will surprise you as well. There was moment in the book where I had tears in my eyes which don't take much for me. Don't want to spoil the ending but this is a must READ.

I don't know if this is the end on the series but I sure HOPE not there are at least 3 stories I would like to see written. Flex, Kyson's brother & sister story and I am hoping Adrianne has already started on at least one of them

With each book Ms. Byrd get's better and better. In this one we meet another Adams sister. We meet Michael who is newly divorced a slighly bitter and wants to get back at her husband but of course it's all talk or is it? And this is where the funny, hot and crazy story begins and Ms. Byrd takes you on this ride and leaves you wanting more. Did I mention funny. Those Adams sisters can get themselves into some mess LOL! And of cours there a point where Ms. Byrd tries to get you with the tears. You get to catch up with the rest of the Adams clan and meet the sexy dective Kyson. Definite recommendation!

WELL I AM, 1ST OF ALL, A HUGE FAN OF ADRIANNE BYRD. WITHOUT GIVING ANYTHING AWAY ABOUT THE STORY, I'LL SAY THIS. I WAS LAUGHING A LOT & FELT EMBARRASSED A BIT BUT IF YOU LIKE DRAMA AND REALLY HOT "SESSIONS" THEN YOU'LL LOVE THIS BOOK. YOU MAY WANT TO HAVE YOUR SPOUSE OR SIGNIFICANT OTHER NEAR WHEN YOU READ THIS! YOU MUST READ THE 1ST 2 ADAMS SISTER BOOKS THOUGH OR YOU WON'T ENJOY THIS ONE AS MUCH. "MEASURE OF A MAN" AND "WHEN YOU WERE MINE". SORRY BUT I DON'T GET THE TEARS DURING LOVEMAKING, MY ONLY EXPERIENCE WITH TEARS DURING SEX HAPPENED 2XS AND BOTH TIMES I ENDED UP BEING PREGNANT SO... THE BOOK IS HOT AND FUNNY AS HECK AND THE ENDING IS A TRUE TRIP!

All I can say is WOW!! This book and so many twists and turns at some points my head was spinning. Of course it is always great to read about the Adams sisters, and this one is beyond description. One thing for sure it makes you want to think twice before you say some things. Michael simple said she would love to kidnap her ex-husband, tie him to a tree and beat him. The next thing she knows her life is a whirlwind of events and mishaps that have her fighting for her freedom. She and Kyson were beyond hot and Ms. Juanita Perkins (Neighborhood Watch Captain) was off the chain. I sure wouldn't want to be her neighbor nor get on her bad side. As always the sisters find themselves in a heap of trouble, but the ending will have you breathing a sigh of relief. This book is most definitely worth reading!! I can't wait to see if Ms. Byrd will give us another installment of the Adams family to read, because they are truly a fun group of people, with never a dull moment.

This is by far one of the best books I have ever read!!!!!!! The end was simply amazing!!!! Go buy the book......You will not be dissapointed!!!!!!

The cover of this book totally hooked me. Handcuffs and a sexy black man! But this story was so well written and so unexpected! Adrianne Byrd has written a winner! In Controversy, we find Michael Adams, the queen of revenge schemes, is in trouble. The police think that she killed her ex.
Police detective Kyson Dekker knows the last thing he should do is get involved with a suspect. But there is a difference in knowing what's right and wrong and doing the right thing. There are more twists in this book than a wild ride at Six Flags. And just when you think you got it all figured out--BAM--another twist. Giving it away in this review would do a disservice to everyone because this book is a MUST READ!

You are such a wonderful author. I eagerly wait for all your books! The ending was awesome. You will not regret this purchase! This is a must buy!

So, I will be honest here. Haven't read the previous books in this series so I though they were all brothers and not sisters, all of them having boy names. Let's just say it confused the hell out of me, but I finally got it, lol. The Chemistry in this book is H-O-T. And I also have to mention that this book is hilarious. These sisters especially Micheal with her mischevious self will have you laughing out loud like I did. I am an avid reader of Ms. Byrd's and the previous books in this series like I said before I have not read, but have ordered. You will not be disapponted in this book nor any other of Ms. Byrd's books. And I hope that this isn't the end of the series. I would love to see Kyson's brother find a woman who can strap him down. And Kyson's sister as well. Great job again Ms.Byrd.

My goodness...the Adams sisters are crazy anyway but this story had me wondering if their mother dropped her on her head when she was young. It had so many moments that were hot, steamy and delicious. Handcuffs have new meaning to me.... Adrianne Byrd you just keep getting better and better.
