1.0 out of 5 stars I would give this book 0 stars if I could, November 17, 2011
This review is from: Convenient Marriage, Inconvenient Husband (Silhouette Desire) (Mass Market Paperback)
I can't believe this book was published. I don't know if I could ever pick up another book by this author. The "heroine" in this book is someone I would hate to know in person. She is pathetic and weak. She tries to justify all the reasons why she uses and abuses the main guy, but her excuses sound so lame. I don't see how anyone who uses and treats a man like that can ACTUALLY claim she loves him. I don't know what this author is thinking, but that is DEFINITELY not love. I couldn't even finish this book. I seriously wish I had read the reviews first.

1.0 out of 5 stars Horrified!, September 11, 2010
This review is from: Convenient Marriage, Inconvenient Husband (Silhouette Desire) (Mass Market Paperback)
I should have read reviews before opening the book. I am so sorry...
I mean the book is not only undeveloped, it is frustrating. The heroine is a person I would abhor in life - selfish and a lair. Even though the author tried to show reasons behind her behavior, I didn't buy it. What more, I wanted for the hero to take revenge on her. I wanted her crushed and destroyed.
And I definitely couldn't believe what I was reading when the hero apologized to her in the end. After everything she made him go through.
I know the saying about men always being at fault, but come on, this is ridiculous!

An awful book. A total waste of money and time.

1.0 out of 5 stars I dont understand......., May 27, 2010

How some details of this book made it past the editor. Parts of this book actually made me angry/frustrated. The characters are flawed. Even Amira's devotion to the Foundation seems misguided. Again ...Editor how did this one make it past?

As the previous reviewer stated before me this book sucks; if I could have giving it 0 star I would. The ending, yeah right. They both so stupid that at the end I did not know which one to feel sorry for for ending up with each other; but I decided maybe, they deserved each other! I was actually on his side until the end; this is one story I would have been ok if they did not end up together. I had an e-bundle so I could not avoid Lindsay book but next time she appears on my bundle, I won't even bother reading it!

1.0 out of 5 stars another dissapointment., February 9, 2009
This review is from: Convenient Marriage, Inconvenient Husband (Silhouette Desire) (Mass Market Paperback)
When I read the back of the book I thought it might be interesting, all I found was annoying women.Amira (i do like the name) as part of her inheritance must marry by the time she is 30 or lose the money so she ask her ex-fiance to marry her so she can claim it..And at that point I have problems with the story, Why would a women who dumped the man on there wedding day (she sent a voice mail(today take on a dear john letter)) ask this man to marry her when any self respecting woman would get a friend to do it if just for cash. The reason She does it was for some charity but that is not fully relized. The guy Brent does have plenty of reason to be P.O. at her (if I was him as soon as she tried to talk I would have left) Will I wont give it all away But I will say that she does something towards the end that really turned me off and if this was the real world he could(and should)take her to court, I wont say what it it but if you read the book you will. But I say skip it and buy something else
