4.0 out of 5 stars ESCAPE REALITY, October 22, 2000
By
This review is from: Conversation Alone (Audio CD)
MEDULLA NOCTE have found a formula that works; even if they are still quite young. They have rythmes that are powerful, heavy and sometimes even hardcore. They have opened for groups such as EXTREME NOISE TERROR, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, MISERY LOVES CO., ENTOMBED, SKINLAB and SOULFLY. To be able to do all that, they need to have a very wide potential and an extreme supply of energy. This album makes you forget all your problems. Pure, violent and rythmed, crank it up and don't think about anything else.

Don't forget to check out their upcoming album entitled DYING FROM THE INSIDE coming out in october 2000.

5.0 out of 5 stars the best album to come out of the ukhc scene, January 26, 2005
This review is from: Conversation Alone (Audio CD)
i think this band woke allot of people up on the scene. the album doesnt have the best production but each song jumps from intense thrash to catchy hardcore so fast that you forget about recording butgets. lyricly their songs are quite possibly the most depressing you might hear in hardcore with suicide and self hatred being the main focus of most of the tracks. the music speaks for itself, fast 90's thrash riffs followed by more thrash before breakdowns that you cant help but bounce your head to. if you enjoy violence enducing music that takes you from suicidal depression to 'one scene unity' pride- you must hear this album. "all our friends are dead" is probably the standout tune (even your mother can hear the grove in there). the band became reasonably big in the ukhc scene but somehow never made it to that next level. i think the vocalist, guitarist and drummer are now playing with ex-members of iron monkey and caution in a band called 'murder one' . if you like INTENSE metal and hardcore you need this album in your collection!!!
