I purchased this book as college courseware and found it indispensable for all of my communications.

The preface concisely describes the cultural nuances of Hispanic cultures strong sense of individuality and to enjoy the present instead of preoccupying oneself with the future.

The first chapter explains the major differences in Spanish from English in key fundamentals of plurality and tense and only takes 18 pages to do so.

Followed by 200+ pages of common phrases used in the workplace and chapters are broken into the type of workplace, such as the kitchen or the factory floor.

Finally, there are bilingual practice quizzes and even a rudimentary employee manual which remains generic enough for most types of industries.

It is a worthy investment for the hospitality manager or anyone learning Spanish seeking relevant translation to commonly used terms.
