I bought the books and later all the CD's. I listen to them on my one-hour drive back and forth to work every day. I suggest you read the books - then get the CD's and listen over and over again in your car.
It's like driving with God. Minimally, it will help your road-rage...especially when you get cut-off by somebody with a Jesus-fish on their bumper. Before... I would spend the rest of my trip to work hoping they would go to hell. Now I know there is no hell. So I only wish they would get a flat or go off the road or something....which is a big improvement for me.

As with any books of this type, it will resonate with the people who's beliefs are along these same lines and won't with people who believe the Bible is 'the word of God.' This is something each individual will determine for themselves. Beliefs are just that and to say someone else's beliefs are not right, just because they may not be what you believe, is a judgment none of us should make for another. Likely a Christian who chooses to read (or listen to) this book, will have to keep an open mind as it does put God in a different perspective from what is taught in organized religion - a God withOUT judgement, withOUT control, with only pure, UNconditional love...not exactly the perception we learn about God in Sunday school and church. For those, who have these same beliefs, this book is a wonderful addition to have. This is definitely a book on spirituality, not religion.

Hi!
If you loved the books by the same title, then these CDs will be a fabulous treat. It is "different," listening to them, as opposed to reading them. As I read them, I put my "own voice" (not Dennis's voice...I created one)to God's voice in the books, but here Ed Asner (great job Ed as the "male" God.) and Ellen Bernstein?...she ROCKS THE HOUSE AS ANY GOD!! MALE OR FEMALE...ALTHOUGH FEMALE IS GOOD! BEST TO ALL WHO ARE APART OF THE CWG FAMILY...IF YOU ARE NOT, WELCOME...YOU ARE WELCOME HERE. DENNIS
