MASTER OF KEYBOARDS,
By A Customer
This review is from: Conversations (Audio CD)
It was a real pleasure to listen to Michaels music again. He has always understood to combine interesting melodies with a perfect sound of orchestration. He has been a genius in producing ever since, but he`s also a gifted composer and singer himself. Give us more of your spirit!

Hauntingly beautiful, a kind of masterwork. This is don't miss stuff - solo Omartian keyboard - wholly captivating.,

My older children and family used to listen to this self-written, solo instrumental collection while driving on the open road. It seems to add value to everything. A simple joy.
We lost the tape somehow, and I've missed it. I've looked in stores for over a decade. It's delightful to finally catch up with it here on Amazon. I wonder how many have listened to Omartian's work without realizing it. He often works behind the scenes with other musicians. He is an amazing keyboard player and an amazing composer. This particular subtle work will likely steal you away.

After having lost my cassette of this some years back, I began to miss the music, so search here found it.
Michael Omartian is not a front man, but rather a hard working behind the scenes producer, for such artists as Christopher Cross, Rod Stewart and Donna Summer. He also played keyboard on many famous songs that he helped write/produce such as "Arthur's Theme", the SWAT tv show theme, almost all of Christopher Cross's songs ("Ride Like the Wind" and "Sailing") and even some of his own albums over the years. This CD is Omartian's instrumental release, and it not only is really good music, but it also tells a story throughout, even without words. As for instumental albums, this sits right at the top in my music list. |
