Book Description

February 1, 2000
A book of love poems and art photography. There is a collection of 53 poems and 21 photographs divided into three sections. Romantic, intense and easy to understand. Each poem embodies stories about life and love. The black and white photographs included to illustrate some of the poems were aptly chosen to complement the intensity of these verses. Some of the poems are light and breezy, others are tear jerkers, all in all, it is a collection for the romantic at heart.

Editorial Reviews

Review

"Folasayo's poems stir the mind. Her artistry is enchanting, inspiring and awakening" -- Elliott Bay Book Co. Seattle, WA.

From the Author

As a child, I loved my space. In this cocoon, I would hide in my thoughts. These thoughts developed into poetry as I grew up into my adolescent years. About half of the poems in this collection were written between the ages of 16 and 22. As I grow older, I still write with the same voice. From my heart. In my own space. I don't intellectualize what I do. I just love to share my love for words with people along the spectrum of life. Enjoy.

This review is from: Conversations With The Soul At 3:00A.M (Paperback)
Intelligent and subtly humorous. Simple and captivating, I am enamored. Some of the poems evoke a feeling of de javu. An interesting piece of work.
