mens converse composite shoe
This is a very comfortable shoe. It flexes very good as you walk, and it weighs a considerable amount less than steel toes. There is room for your toes to move within the confines of the composite toe. The size seems to run larger than you would think. So I would recommend you order the correct size and not get any bigger to accomadate thick socks. So far so good although...

metatarsal shoes
These shoes run big. I normally wear a 12 wide. these were huge on me and I had to return them. I would have exchanged them except shipping is terrible it took 4 weeks to get them. I ordered these in a size 11 wide from a different supplier. got them in 4 days they are very comfortable as for how well they will hold up. ????

So far so good although I do worry about the fact that the shoe is glued together and not sewn, so we'll see how it holds up.
