Overall, I like these boots, but two issues to consider before buying: 1) as noted in another review, this model does NOT include a zipper. 2) I would not recommend for hot-weather wear. The boots are light, comfortable, and broke in easily. Grip on soil and pavement is good. Lacing is fairly standard, though eyelets are not configured for speed lacing. Padding (including tongue) is very thick. While comfortable in spring, boots are already starting to get hot. I'll need a different model to get me through the summer. Would I buy again? Probably.

I bought these as a higher performance option from the issue AF Combat boot for the new uniform. They are definitly a giant leap forward in fit, and comfort. I'm on my feet most of the day and these have been comfortable and functional.

I've had these boots for a little over a year and I love them. They are very comfortable right out of the box. I actually have the ones with the zipper on the side. Love the zipper since these are not speed laced eyelets. My only complaint is that they wear out really fast due to the soft rubber that makes them so cumfy on the soles. Would buy them again.

These boots are fantastic. The downside is that the first couple of weeks are so they are going to rub your heel raw either in the inside or the very back. Everyone I know who has these has the same complaint. Push through it because after that you will love them. Totally worth the initial discomfort, unless your some kind of pansy lol

I am an Army contractor currently deployed to Afghanistan. When I arrived, I purchased a pair of Converse Stealth boots at the PX, and I LOVE them! The are the most comfortable pair of boots that I have worn. I was in the Army for many years, so I think I know a little something about comfortable boots....and these are the best so far. The ones I purchased at the PX had the zippers on the side, which, being from the Army, I'm not a fan of. I purchased this pair of boots from Amazon because I wanted another pair of the Converse Stealth boots, but I did not want the zipper and I wanted them in Sage Green. I ordered them on the 23rd of December, and I'm wearing them right now, it's the 1st of January. THAT'S SERVICE!!! I also love that Converse will replace the boots if you are a soldier or contractor serving in Iraq or Afghanistan...THAT'S SUPPORT!!! Thank you Converse!

Looked like a fine pair of boots... But there is not zipper on this boot dispite what the pictures show. I returned mine and had to eat the original shipping cost.
