This model leaves a good impression as far as accuracy goes but it will need a bit of prep work. Mold lines over the front headlights a bit heavy but with careful sanding it`ll be OK. Interior door panel engraving is a bit on the light side and ejection holes on the floor and under the boot will need some light sanding also. Chassis looks good, exhaust system molded in, there is some flashing that`ll need trimming. Chassis peripherals good. Comes with customizing parts that I think will fit well. Also has 2 tops; convertible and landau, 1 stock hood and one extended hood for custom version One flathead engine stock and speed setup. Wheel cutouts inside of rear fenders to accomodate modern, wider hoops. No. 2 skill.
I like fifties ford models in custom versions. They have a light and balanced look- good for hot rodding for their lighter weight. AMT has a `49 Ford tudor coupe available also. Worth checking out! |
