This book is exactly what I was looking for. It provided loads of information, from the planning and preparation stage to actual techniques and materials needed to convert the garage, attic or basement into living spaces. It covered subjects like framing, electrical, masonry, etc. I didn't want a picture book on decorating. This book is great for DIYers who want to do things themselves, but don't quite know how to do it.
