5.0 out of 5 stars A Superior Book
Dolores Cannon does it again with a thought provoking and true story. This was a hard book to put down even with its 560 odd pages. She continues to enlighten us with truth about our true history of Earth, it's alien help and our somewhat limited knowledge of our true beginnings compared to what we are taught as children in school of "history". This book also...

3.0 out of 5 stars Consider other authors, like Adrian Dvir
I ordered Dolores' book based on the high reviews it received. I can see why they received those marks but I can't agree with them. The topics covered in her books, through regression hypnosis, are very interesting and comprehensive. However, it becomes painfully obvious that Dolores has no idea what questions to ask or even understand the responses. For topics such as...

This book also has tantalizing information on several subjects that are usually considered mysteries such as the Shroud of Turin, Bigfoot, The Bermuda Triangle, The Loch Ness Monster(s) etc. The subconscious information given by Spirit is as real as any I have heard and portray's realistic information on these subjects. I will anxiously await Book 2 of The Convoluted Universe to make us all more aware of our past, present and future. It is books like this that everyone should be reading.

4.0 out of 5 stars Groundbreaking information, July 23, 2002
By
alfredo garcia jr (carlsbad, CA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Convoluted Universe: Book One (Paperback)
This book represents the culmination of over 10 years of information obtained from working with subject's subconscious minds. Information, which until now could not be released because, either, it did not fit with the subject matter of previous books, or, it was not allowed by the supra intelligence which is influencing the timeline by which this information is to be released to the human race. As a result, there is a lot of new and important information regarding the origins of our human race, including such mysteries as crop circles, strange creatures, parallel universes, the nature of consciousness, mysteries of mummification, the construction of stonehenge and the pyramids, and other mysteries.
Interestingly, a few months ago a guest on Whitley Strieber's Unknown Country spoke of a group of British explorers who were firsthand observers of a Tibetan Buddhist ceremony during the first part of last century, and who witnessed the levitation of huge stones through the combined use of chanting and strange-looking "horn-like" instruments. This is the almost exact process which is described on page 216 of Dolores' book through one of her subjects, even down to the detail of having all participants breathing alternatively so that a constant sound could be maintained.
Perhaps more importantly, this book introduces new material available to Dolores only during the past three years explaining how extraterrestrials are influencing the genes of thousands of us in an effort to speed up our evolution in preparation for the coming changes. More information will be available in the coming sequel.

3.0 out of 5 stars Consider other authors, like Adrian Dvir, August 28, 2008
This review is from: The Convoluted Universe: Book One (Paperback)
I ordered Dolores' book based on the high reviews it received. I can see why they received those marks but I can't agree with them. The topics covered in her books, through regression hypnosis, are very interesting and comprehensive. However, it becomes painfully obvious that Dolores has no idea what questions to ask or even understand the responses. For topics such as alternate universes, time travel, and reincarnation (for example) you need the mind of an engineer or atleast a mind more open than Dolores'. She admits herself that she often doesn't believe what she hears and takes it at face value. For this, I gave this book 3 stars.

If you share the same sentiment as me, consider reading Adrian Dvir's book. One of the first books I read on the subject of Aliens and Alien Clinics and he does a good job with it. He is an engineer and asks direct questions that dig at the concept, yet in the same informal way as Dolores does - through conversation. If we could mix Dolores' extensive work with Adrian direct questioning, you'd have an excellent book!

5.0 out of 5 stars the Convoluted Universe, December 6, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: The Convoluted Universe: Book One (Paperback)
This book contains an incredible amount of information which stimulated my mind beyond measure. I realize that I should have read the book "Custodians" first but nevertheless I was spellbound and could not put the book down. I thoroughly recommend this book for those who are seeking knowledge and those who welcome to stretch their minds.

I will admit it... I am one of Dolores Cannon's greatest fans. This work is right on par with the Nostradamus series and the Jesus works.

Dolores covers a bit most of the major mysteries in this book with a promise of a follow-on volume to cover more. Atlantis, the Ark of the Convenent, Sasquatch, etc. If you are interested in these topics, the this book is a must.

I am eagerly awaiting the Volume II of Convoluted Universe.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fascinating Book - a must read, May 29, 2007
This review is from: The Convoluted Universe: Book One (Paperback)
I love books, and I would not label a book a "must read" unless I really felt so. This book is absolutely fascinating. I can't remember the last time I read through an entire 500+ page book, and to add to that, my copy looks like a highlighter exploded all over the place.
This book covers everything from Atlantis, the makers of the Pyramids in Egypt, Peru, and Mexico, parallel universes and other dimensions, aliens and extra terrestrials, life on other planets/star systems, past life memories, the current and coming earth changes, star children, and so much more. I have Book 2 on the way and I can't wait to crack it open.
It's a shame this book is hard to find in stores.
You stumbled upon a jewel. By this book now.

4.0 out of 5 stars For those faithful to Dolores, March 18, 2002
This review is from: The Convoluted Universe: Book One (Paperback)
For those faithful to Dolores, one can't but help admire her for her continuing research into yet another path. If you have read all her other books, then this one won't come as too much of a surprise. I have read the majority of her books and was able to keep an open mind ... that's what you must do. She is sincere in her work and continues to be in this one. It takes some of the 'sting' out of the scare of aliens ... and hopefully mankind will realize that we are not alone, and we'd better shape up. I look forward to the next one Dolores has for us in the series.

3.0 out of 5 stars What a Wonderfully Complex World, August 11, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Convoluted Universe: Book One (Paperback)
It is true that as one reads this book, one connects with the energy that created it. It can be very healing and enlightening, while at the same time it can be very confusing. There is some amazing potential here if one maintains a very discerning mind.

I like the book overall and enjoyed the information presented, though many things are clearly (at least to me) fiction (ie, the Shroud of Turin is not real - it is a forgery)... Dolores has described herself as a "grandmotherly type" who could stay objective and present this information in as simple a way as possible and in the most non-threatening manner. Most of the material is too complex for words, so what we get in the book is in some cases the closest thing we can have until we directly experience it for ourselves. Dolores has decided to stay at the level of most readers who might be new to this material and relate as if she is discovering it for the first time. She has done that job well, though this is also what keeps the book from becoming great. Dolores takes EVERYTHING at face value and is not able to evaluate it as truth - she stays in her reporter role. And this is where it gets complicated...

First, Dolores has no psychic/intuitive ability that would help her evaluate truth from fiction. Second, in holding herself back personally from deeper spiritual experiences (her personal choice), Dolores continues to mix in some lower truths and personal biases with the higher ones. I find myself getting high reading the channeling of some of the beings (though not all) coming through her hypnosis subjects, but then I have to come down as I start reading some of Dolores' synopsis, opinions, and personal thoughts on the information that has been presented.

For example, can we now drop the idea of "Karmic Debts" that have to be repaid? At the top of page 179, Karma is finally clearly & lucidly explained for what it is, but due to the nature of the book, it is still not clear in other areas. The Karmic system, similar to the 10 Commandments, were the best ways found to relate higher truths to a given consciousness level at a violent period in history. They are a 1st level consciousness system based on reward-punishment in a "me first" oriented world. It works for that level of thinking. But this book is not written to or for people who want to stay at that level, only those transitioning from it. Holding onto the idea of karma (or God as a HE - more of an IT) as a payback, just maintains unnecessary obstacles to growth.

And... about the Jesus story. It is interesting that all of Dolores' sources, even the supposedly "high" ones, basically confirm all the religious Sunday school stories we have been told about Jesus' life up to his crucifixion and rising from the dead. But is this story what actually happened? If you want to shake your tree, try Michael Morgan's "Pontius Pilate's Gospel of Jesus" and round that up with "The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ" by Levi. These books contain more truth about the Jesus story than any I have read. It is in these books that I discovered more of who Jesus (Yeshua) was and what the term "Christ" really means.

Dolores, you have done amazing work, but please allow some spiritual experiences of your own and raise your level of understanding to a knowing level & not just stay at a reporter/intellectual level. Examine your own personal beliefs & biases. Bring your personal being up to or nearer to the information you are presenting. It will make the messages you impart so much more consistent. You don't need to hold yourself back for us. You can walk ahead in spiritual growth if you want to... :) And please remember to leave the Light on...

In short, despite A LOT of really powerful insights and accounts in Convoluted 1, I still remind myself that this information is often biased/skewed in some way, either by difficulties in language, personal bias, or simple human error. The discerning mind & heart should always remain alert when evaluating any material (not just this book) to see how it compares to the personal truth we each have within ourselves. And we must each take personal responsibility for how we evaluate that truth and ultimately apply it.

5.0 out of 5 stars a true prism helping us to remember and reflect forth the true light of love, January 31, 2006
By
This review is from: The Convoluted Universe: Book One (Paperback)
This book really doesn't require a review for those of you who have read Delores Cannon, she truly comes from the heart and, through interaction with her clients and through other entities, is able to express and bring forth a plethora of knowledge on past present and future realities while also conveying the importance that it is never the person (or entity) but the message they bring that is most important. We live now in a very tumultuous time where there will continue to be a greater polarization until our reality will no longer exists in the same form. The illusion is starting to crumble and become exposed.

If there is one message that should be gained through this book it would truly be that all of you are loved, and if you take anything besides love from these messages than you must continue your search, as there is no separation. We are on the cusp of a brand new world and are about to embark once again on a limitless journey. To skeptics this book will, at the very least, provide you with highly enjoyable work of fiction which will inevitably open aspects of your mind and experience to new possibilites, which is just as well. Thank you very much to Delores who has devoted much of herself and her time for our benefit and has truly become a vessel of inspiration in her own right. To those who are earnestly seeking know that this book came to you because you asked for this, and those who truly seek and ask will be shown.
