4.0 out of 5 stars Quick chopper
It mets or exceeds every expectation in terms of chopping fruits or veggies. They only negative thing is it is semi difficult to clean. Other choppers on the market have a way to open the unit like a butterfly to clean. This unit does not have that option and makes it difficult to clean.

This product was horrible. I got it to replace an old onion chopper that is cracked...and I still use the cracked one. You lift it up and food goes flying.

Cook Pro Chrome Vegetable and Onion Chopper

This is a very inexpensive product.
Had I a chance to do it again I would spend more and get a much better one.
I've gone back to my butcher knife.

1.0 out of 5 stars Useless, January 5, 2011

Nothing about this product is good. It feels flimsy. It does not cut well, doing a lot of crushing instead. I tried it first on green bell pepper and onion. In both cases, some pieces would escape the blades and remain large. Also some stuff would slide up past the blade guard, making it hard to clean. The last thing I tried was some celery. It jammed between the blades so firmly that it was very difficult to clean out. There are no instructions for cleaning; and I suspect that getting water into the top part is a bad thing. The blade rotation was not reliable unless I made a specific rotating motion to assure it. I can chop with a knife more rapidly and with much more uniform results. I determined that I would never again use the product, so I returned it to Amazon.

1.0 out of 5 stars It sucks!!!, December 9, 2010
This review is from: Cook Pro Chrome Vegetable and Onion Chopper (Kitchen)
Would not touch with a 10 foot pole again! The inner thing bent after dicing a soft red potato. Its an irreversable kind of damage. Once that inner thing which supports the blades; once its own forks bends badly, its done, GARBAGE!! And that is where mine ended less than a month after buying it!! I was so disappointed! On a brighter note, I did get another kind of brand from target and it is the best dicer ever! Easy to clean, easy to dismantle and its much more efficient than this other useless thing i initially bought! I should just have gone to target first! But if wishes were horses, right? Pleaaaaaaaase, if you are even considering buying this item, contribute that money to the salvation army or something else that will not put your money to waste!

1.0 out of 5 stars AWFUL, November 15, 2010

What a waste of money! First of all it is described as being "chrome" - looks and feels more like plastic to me. Secondly, blades are extremely dull - won't chop anything, AND, does not come apart for easy cleaning. Will go back to using my Pampered Chef chopper which is great (but old and held together with duct tape). This item doesn't deserve a rating of even one star - it should be taken off Amazon.com.

Even after I made several adjustments of the onion in the chopper, it still left several big pieces. The chopper did not come with cleaning instructions.

1.0 out of 5 stars onion chopper, November 4, 2011

I didn't want to spend the money to get the pampered chef chopper and now I wish I had because this one is ineffective....especially for onions. It was as if the blade isn't sharp enough. And also, it is difficult to clean because it doesn't dismantle in the way the pampered chef and other onion choppers do.
