I'm partial to any stainless kitchen gadgets. When I found this I was delighted and purchased it instantly. I'm very happy with this purchase. Keeps at least 6 cups of oil. Has a very good lid that fits tightly.

This is a good looking and well made container for the price. The only complaint I have is the strainer is not well thought out. It is simply a disk that stays inplace with an interference fit. It could be improved by making it more of a basket design. This will eliminate crumbs falling through while trying to remove screen for cleaning

The strainer is a pain sometimes to put in place without falling through completely, but since I also uses a coffee filter to catch finer particles, the strainer can be wedged in quite securely.

Oil storage can
Stainless steel with straining tray at top. Great product. Can wash in dishwasher. You don't have to let the grease cool down before pouring into container.

Nice idea but needs some work....
This storage pot looks good (love stainless steel) and the strainer seems ok but the lid does NOT fit tight. Not what I need - sorry. Read more

This is as advertized and I very pleased with it. its a small thing but very usefull in the kitchen for things like bacon grease.

Smells bad after being washed
The metal smells bad after cleaning it, and it gets in the oil too. It's a sickening metallic smell I think. Read more

We use this for compost
I don't know how this works for oil. We throw our scraps that are headed for the compost heap into the container. Nice that it has a lid and it cleans up nice and shiney. Read more
