This timer has the best combination of classic and digital features. It has a classic look and feel so that it is easy to see the numbers and easy to set the time. But, it runs on a battery like a digital timer which means silent operation (no ticking!) and a great escalating ring. The only wish I have is that it was made in more colors.

Easy and quick to set [not like those digitals that take 10-15 seconds] and I love the alarm which starts off loud but then gets increasingly louder until it's turned off. Also has a little led bulb that shows the timer is on as it's so silent it's hard to tell ie. there's no clicking with this battery operated timer.

This timer is top notch, espcially for the price! It is much more stable and reliable than the mechanical 60 minute timers. I had been looking for one of these quartz timers for two or three years after my old one from many years ago quit because of old age. I was so delighted to see that a new product of this type was put on the market again. Although I waited a long time and found it difficult to find one, I am very happy now that I have it.
