Cook Yourself Sexy is a wonderful cookbook - the recipes are straightforward and totally not intimidating. Unlike many other healthy cookbooks out there, the ingredients are easy to find, and most you probably already have on hand. Love her, love the recipes and love the uplifting intro. I wasn't expecting the cookbook to be empowering - just an added bonus!

I hate to leave a less then good review :( but I just got this book a month ago and I have been trying new recipes from it but have yet to have anything that was good enough to make again. I made the roasted corn and cucumber salad that was OK but not delicious enough to make again, and the same can be said for the tomatillo salsa, and roasted garlic lentil soup. After having not so good results with the recipes I did try, I will most likely not use the cookbook again. I think if you are looking for a healthy cookbook to help you loose weight or eat healthy you would be better off with Tosca Reno's Eat Clean cookbooks, I have had much better luck with those. The presentation of the book and the cute titles make it really fun, I only wish I could say the same for eating the food.

This is seriously one of the only cookbooks I own that makes me want to cook and eat every single recipe. Ive gotten through about half the book and each recipe is seriously well tested and delicious. The fact that they are 'healthy' versions is just an added bonus. My boyfriend literally raves for each one ive made and he has no idea they are actually good for him. I would time and time and time again recommend this one to friends and family. In addition, the author makes it a super fun read with descriptions and stories throughout the book.

I really enjoyed Candice's first cookbook, Pretty Delicious, so there was no question that I would be getting this one as well, and the first day I brought it home, I sat right down, and just poured over the beautiful pictures, and incredible-sounding recipes. I love the little anecdotes and tips she includes in each one, and the whole first section of the book is a guide to revamping your lifestyle to be healthier, happier, and more successful. How cool is that??

My current obsession from this book is the maple roasted butternut squash recipe. I cannot stop making it!! I can't wait to break out the size-zero cake recipe for my husband's birthday, and so many others have been calling my name. I've fallen in love with sardines, gotten the guts to roast a whole chicken, and re-learned that pasta is not the enemy.

If you like to cook, or don't yet, but would like a simple guide to cooking impressive, healthy, delicious food, START HERE!

I am a HUGE Candice Kumai fan and her cook book does not disappoint. I knew I was going to be in for a treat when my mouth began to water as I flipped through the recipes. The recipes are delicious and easy to follow. I consider myself a great cook, but this allowed me to use different flavors and cooking methods to provide healthy meals for my husband and me. I love this cook book.
