When the moon is no longer lighting the night sky, two rabbits - Cookie and Cream - are put in charge of discovering where the night time orb has gone to. Their investigation leads them to a mysterious trap-filled island. They'll have to work together if they hope to rescue the errant lunar object in time for the Moon Festival. Players of Cookie and Cream must navigate their way through the diverse worlds on the top screen while solving puzzles and disarming traps on the Touch Screen below. Played as either a single-player game where one person controls both characters, or as a cooperative game where one person maneuvers Cookie on the top screen while the other is in charge of Cream on the Touch Screen, Cookie and Cream is a unique combination of gaming genres that's completely unlike anything else on Nintendo DS. Players can also take part in 9 fun minigames, or up to four players can play a minigame battle where the fastest to solve the most games wins.

My son has enjoyed this game even though usually he's only interested in big name character games. It has held his attention though some parts of it he has said were difficult as it doesn't always explain well what is expected to get through certain areas of the game.

This was a graduation present to my niece. She picked this one out herself, so, I'll rate everything at 5 stars because she was happy with this gift. I have no idea if it's fun or not. But she seems to enjoy it.
