About the Author
Ann Hazard is passionate about all things Mexican. She is a third generation Baja Aficionado who lives in Buena Vista on the East Cape of Baja California Sur with her husband Terry and their two Mexican dogs. Cooking With Baja Magic Dos is her fourth book. It includes updated versions of all 175 recipes that were in her first cookbook, 80 new recipes and adventure stories and all new art. Ann's second book, Cartwheels in the Sand, is an insightful novel about four women's odyssey of self-discovery while traveling the Baja peninsula in an RV. Drawing upon personal experiences, Ann has created fictional characters that are entertaining and believable and has sent them on an authentic road trip. Her third book, Agave Sunsets, is a collection of 50 tales spanning four generations of Baja adventures. Agave Sunsets is a memorable journey through Baja. Additionally, Ann has written articles for publications including: San Diego Union-Tribune, Coastal Living Magazine, Baja Traveler Magazine, the Coast News, the Baja Tourist Guide, Baja Tourist Guide, RV Companion, Western Outdoor News, Discover Los Cabos, Discover Baja, Sister Cities Magazine, La Buena Vida in Buena Vista, and The Mexico File. She contributes to websites including: BajaInsider.com, LosCabosGuide.com, JustSayGo.com, Mexgrocer.com and her own website, BajaMagic.com. She is a member of Mexico Writers’ Alliance and North American Travel Writers’ Association.

I am very disappointed, I have purchased Cooking with Baja Magic & Cooking with Baja Magic Dos, which is a repetition plus a bit more. As a cooking book both are pretty bad. I don't return them because I never like to make returns. I thank you for the opportunity to let you know.

This book has everything--recipes for any kind of Mexican food you can think of--the dishes covered range from supposedly simple things like salsa and guacamole to really fancy fare and great drinks. Plus there's really cool artwork and fun stories about Baja and...life!
