Editorial Reviews

Each savory recipe is accompanied by an equally mouthwatering full-color photograph of the finished culinary delight. Cooking Basics includes useful information on essential kitchen equipment and the fundamental techniques of cleaning produce, cutting vegetables, carving poultry and making gravy. An illustrated glossary serves as a guide to the various ingredients used in its recipes. Cooking Basics is ideal for novice chefs of any age -- and the recipes will prove attractive to even the most experienced cook as well! -- Midwest Book Review
