Cooking Light Annual Recipes 2009: Every Recipe...A Year's Worth of Cooking Light Magazine

I was very excited to get this book, until I actually got it. The recipes are broken down into months that they appeared in the magazine, instead of by categories like beef or chicken. Also there are a lot of salad recipes, which wasn't really what I was looking for, and there aren't many pictures in the book either. I found a few things in the book I want to try, maybe I could have found more if it was set up a little differently.

If you like cooking light this is great, so you don't have to keep the clutter of the magazines.

I purchased this book to replace a water-logged 2008 edition. My husband and I have not only been trying to eat healthier, but we've also been trying to save money by cooking at home. Every week I flip through the two books and come up with a variety of recipes to make each night - we've eaten so many new and interesting meals and know we're doing something good for ourselves at the same time. Something I've found helpful is to visit the [...] site to check out reviews of each recipe for tips from other readers.

I get the magazine each month but still get the yearly compilation of recipes - much easier to find old favorites and new recipes to try.

I really wish Cooking Light would get more in tune with the every day cook. Many of the recipes require ingredients that you would use only for that recipe and then...i don't know, watch it go bad? Also many of the recipes are time consuming and would not necessairily work for people who do not have alot of time to dedicate in the grocery store searching for ingredients or in kitchen. But the recipes that I have tried from the book are delicious. It is a great addition to my collection overall.

I love cooking light's recipes, but this cookbook could be organized better, and have more pictures. The recipes are organized by the month the magazine was released rather than by food type or meal type.

I buy every "Cooking Light Annual" cookbook. They have great ideas, recipes and menus.

I am long time Cooking Light magazine subscriber. The annual book combines an entire year of the magazines, receipes my month and also general index. Great Books.

I love to cook, and these recipes are always fun to try because they're "light". And it's great that all the recipes are put together in one book!

I bought two of these books for Christmas. They came in excellent condition. The book has a lot of good recipes. The two people I bought them for love the cookbook.
