This product is a great alternative to the traditional boring, low fat food. The portions are reasonable, and most of the food I have tried so far is really yummy. I cannot stand frozen, "diet" meals and since I love to cook this is a FABULOUS alternative. I would not recommend this for someone who hates cooking though. It requires quite a bit of planning. But it is worth it.

Example: Today I had the following:
Breakfast - Blueberry Coffee Cake (which I would make again, diet or no) and 2 links of Turkey Sausage
Lunch - Chicken with Wild Mushroom Sauce (contained cream :) ) with Egg Noodles; Carrot Sticks; and a Homemade Mocha Cookie (fairly decent size too!)
Dinner - Pork stir fry with Pineapples and Brown Rice; Apple

This cook book is my new favorite! The meals are all very reasonable to make with simple ingredients. I love it and will cook with it often. There is a picture of each recipe covering an entire page. I love and need this in a cookbook. It is a must buy!

Since it's the new year and everyone is trying to become "a new you" I went on a diet and accidentally stumbled across this book at my local library. The book is broken up into 4 sections, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Snacks, and each recipe has the caloric intake for the dish with little tips on the side of the page. There are a plethora of recipes to pick from, and everything that my friends and I tried tasted amazing! It's even beginner friendly. My friend that never cooks made the blueberry coffee cake and tasted like it came from a real bakery. I love how each recipe has a photo so you know what your dish is supposed to look like, and it's hard to believe that I'm saving money by eating in, and losing weight by not eat out! I only wish that this book had more dessert recipes because I have a sweet tooth, otherwise its great! Definitely a recommended buy.
