This review is from: Cooking on the Road with Celebrity Chefs (Paperback)
this book is so fun! well-written and nicely organized with nifty bios of the chefs and yummy descriptions of the dishes. recipes are easy to follow and results so far have been really good. chocolate brownie ice cream sandwiches are oh so festive! the best on-the-road book since ON THE ROAD-highly recommended even if gas prices make you stay put!

This book makes a great gift for yourself or fellow road warrior. Lots of easy ways to prepare good tasty food on the road, especially when you are craving a real home-cooked meal instead of yet another restaurant. Make enough to share with new friends you meet along the way and you will long remember the trip. Most things are made with simple everyday, readily available ingredients and loads of suggestions for cooking in small spaces and with limited pots and pans. Look it over before you take off and see what you can take in advance to save money on the trip. Then, just buy the fresh items as needed.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not really cooking on the road, September 9, 2010

This review is from: Cooking on the Road with Celebrity Chefs (Paperback)
I am a new RVer so I thought from the title this would have some easy to cook meals on the go. I love to cook but found the recipes just not my taste. I am a simple person and like good old American food. I mean who cooks lamb or curry on a road trip? It seemed to gourmet for my RV. Your better off just taking your favorite cook book instead. I'm returning mine.
