I ordered this DVD together with a book that I will review separately.

This DVD has a lot of interesting information about the mobile food business that i never have heard about previously. A lot of this information is hard to find on the internet. It covers a lot of the basics of setting up a food trailer business and cooking the different food items on the menu. There is a lot more to it than I thought- it is clear that this can't be done overnight- even though you could slap together a trailer fast, but for long term success it is better to build a solid reputation in the market. That is the only way to survive in this business.

At festivals you have to do what you can to make your customers choose you over your competition. This has a lot to do with your unique looks and the foods you are selling as well. I've bought many different business information courses from various vendors on the internet and this material is very good on its own.

I have been is the small restaurant business over 5 years now and am still fascinated by its possibilities. I knew next to nothing when I got started with catering and wish now I would have taken time to talk to more people to learn from their experiences. There for sure was no one telling you how it's done back then!

This dvd has the right idea- Get your foods out there and the customers will come!
