I wanted a book on making soup. From scratch. This book tells you to take this can of soup and mix it with that can of soup and add a couple of veggies and voila! Soup. Could have read the back of the campbell soup can and done that.

The person making the comment above has clearly not even looked at the book. ""Cans of soup" are nowhere mentioned, and every recipe is about making soup from scratch. It is very sad that a fine piece of work should be slandered like this.

This is a book about creating delicious soups from ingredients that are already in your pantry and your garden. Soup is just about the most wonderful dish there is, and this book will start you on the journey of discovery.
