Rated this as "It's OK" as I loved it the first time I used it but the second & third times were duds :( I was so excited to see this advertised as my hubby loves cooked pudding but I hate to stand & stir for 30 minutes to make it. Like I said the first time it worked great but after that it would start & stop. Even putting new batteries in twice didn't help. Tossed it in the trash can :( Maybe someone will improve on it as I still hate to stand & stir pudding!!!

can't even remember where we bought it from, so returning it is out... but thought I would write a review here for others interested in this product... the first time I used it, it worked great... the second time I used it, I thought it had worked great... until I took it out of the dishwasher, and discovered that the silicone feet had melted... according to the user and care guide, it is supposed to not only be dishwasher safe, but is supposed to withstand temperatures of 'up to 570 degrees fahrenheit'... which is far above boiling point... it didn't, so now, it's trash... granted it's not that much money in the trash, but still, after reading the guide that came with it, I would have thought I would have gotten more than one use out of it... since the feet melted on the second use, I thought I should play it safe, and throw out the fudge... so in my opinion, the price may be great, but not if it can only be used once before the silicone melts... not to mention the time wasted making fudge just to throw it out... another great idea that just didn't meet my expectations

I ordered this item with low expectations and was not disappointed. I tried the unit for stirring a mixture the consistency of orange juice. It did alright for the 40 seconds that it ran but then inexpicably it stopped. Tried refitting the batteries (thing vibrates to generate motion) and it would start and stop over and over again but not stay running I basically gave up. I may try again but my first impression was not positive. Fortunatley I didn't waste a lot of money on this.

It does not really stir anything very well. I tried it in a simple can of chicken noodle soup and it just sat in the pan vibrating but not moving in a stirring fashion.

Did not stir the complete mixture. Stayed in one place. Did not move around the pan. Motor had plenty of power.

Have used it twice and it did the job pretty well. The second time I used it, though, it didn't start. I replaced the batteries, which were not dead to begin with, and still didn't start. Played with it more and then it worked, just fine. I hope this doesn't happen again because I do like how it works.

My wife asked me to get one of these to try. I thought it was one of those TV ads we would think was cute, use once and put away until we threw it away. We got two by mistake (see next paragraph), and gave one to our daughter. My wife seldom cooks, but uses her Robo Stir quite often when she does. My daughter is one of the TV cooking enthusiests. She also uses hers quite often. As it turns out, I am now on line buying us another one, not because ours is broken, but because my wife wants to stir more than one pot at a time. She loves it. Realize, this is not for the large heavy pots, with tons of solid items. It is more for sauces and soups. I say this, but I have not tried the heavy items. I just look at the thin wires, and do not see how they could move heavy items.

I ordered the first one from the TV ad. What a pain in the rear. I ended up ordering two without intending to do so, and got an upgrade on one, that I can not tell from the other. It took weeks to receive. So glad Amazon sells it now. Such a breeze to just click and order, and expect it in a couple of days.
