In addition, the pot looks great in modern kitchens thanks to the attractive mirror finish, which complements most other cookware collections.

Chefs that like to monitor their foods while cooking will appreciate the clear glass lid, which includes a steam-release vent that keeps the glass from fogging. The pot also offers a pair of riveted stainless-steel side handles designed to stay cool on the stovetop. I was very impressed by the heft of this nice sized stockpot! The bottom has a double bottom annealed to it making it very substantial. The handles are just like Calphalon - user friendly! The glass lid has a tiny hole for steam, a nice touch to cut down on it steaming up totally I presume. It's size will amaze you as I bought it for maybe cooking spaghetti - it's big enough for a HUGE batch of soup or whatever. Great value on a Friday sale or anytime compared to the 'big' name stockpots. I'm considering more of this manufacturer's line ;)

I am very pleased with the quality of this stockpot. It is a heavy, well made pot. The see through lid is great . . . . especially when the kids want to know what's cooking. I haven't found a stockpot as nice as this for the price. It's heavier than others that sold for $40 and up. Nice value.

I got this on an outrageous sale for $13.50. It is high quality and fits my need perfectly for a good size chili or stew or soup pot when you need to feed more than a couple of people.

The glass lid is a real plus to be able to view the contents.
